CeylonCash Calls on Global Crypto Community to Aid Sri Lanka in Times of Need

Nov 30, 2025

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Colombo, Sri Lanka – November 30, 2025:

Sri Lanka is facing one of its most serious humanitarian emergencies in recent years, with thousands of families affected by severe flooding. Today, CeylonCash, Sri Lanka’s largest and most active crypto community is calling on the global blockchain ecosystem to unite and support ongoing relief efforts.

With a network spanning international partners, developers, investors, and crypto advocates, CeylonCash is mobilizing rapid emergency coordination to provide food, medical supplies, temporary shelter, and long-term recovery support. This moment demonstrates a core belief shared across the Web3 world: community can move faster than traditional systems when it truly matters.

This is not the first time CeylonCash has responded to crisis. During the 2022 pandemic, the community organized and distributed support by working alongside regional and global crypto partners, proving the strength of decentralized collaboration in real-world impact.

Today, CeylonCash is once again reaching out but this time on a global scale.

Two ongoing references show how the message is now being amplified globally

“At this critical moment, we are turning to our peers across the global crypto community. Together, we can make a real difference for Sri Lanka and deliver support to those most in need,” said CMNisal, Community Lead of CeylonCash.

We invite all blockchain projects, DAOs, exchanges, NFT communities, creators, and crypto users worldwide to help spread the message using #DonateSriLanka and #Flood2025 or contribute in any way possible.
