CeyPay officially launches a LKR 15 Million Merchant Subsidy Program, powered by Bybit, marking a major milestone for crypto payments in Sri Lanka.

Through a partnership between Bybit and CeylonCash (Pvt) Ltd, Bybit Pay is now being rolled out across Sri Lanka via CeyPay, enabling both physical merchants and digital businesses to accept crypto payments while settling directly in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR).

CeyPay operates within a global crypto payments ecosystem alongside partners including Binance, Bybit, and KuCoin.

Who Can Apply

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Registered business in Sri Lanka
  2. Minimum monthly transaction volume of LKR 200,000
  3. Willingness to promote crypto payment acceptance
  4. Physical retail outlet or established online presence

  1. Complete the merchant application form
  2. Submit business registration, location details, and transaction history
  3. Evaluation based on legitimacy, transaction potential, geographic coverage, and commitment to crypto adoption

• Application period opens: 5 November 2025
• Review process: Within 2 weeks of application
• Merchant selection: Announced via official channels
• POS installation: Rolling deployment over 4 to 6 weeks
