**COLOMBO, Sri Lanka** – CeylonCash has partnered with Kankalu Colombo to enable crypto payments at their upcoming live music concert, marking the first time a major live music event in Sri Lanka has introduced a compliant, real-world crypto payment experience.

Through this initiative, concert-goers will be able to make payments using digital assets via CeyPay at designated merchant points, with settlement facilitated through CeylonCash's local payment infrastructure — powered by leading global payment rails.

### Supporting a New Payment Culture

Commenting on the initiative, Nisal Chandrasekara, Community Lead of CeylonCash, stated:

> "Live events are one of the most natural environments to introduce new payment experiences. By enabling crypto payments at Kankalu Colombo, we are giving Sri Lankan audiences a firsthand look at how digital assets can function in everyday settings. This is a practical, responsible step toward normalising crypto payments in the country — starting with the places people love most."

The collaboration highlights how crypto payment rails can be deployed responsibly in high-energy event environments, offering attendees a seamless, cashless alternative at one of Colombo's most iconic venues.

By combining live entertainment with modern payment infrastructure, this concert sets a new standard for how Sri Lankans engage with digital assets — not on a screen, but in the real world.
